VIVA is a medical resort. Your stay with us should be regenerating and relaxing so please do bring comfortable clothing with you. Dressing gowns and slippers are available for your convenience at VIVA. For leisure activities and treatments we recommend that you bring sportswear.
Due to the fact that electrosmog is harmful to your recovery process, WLAN is not available in the rooms but it is available in the Lobby.
There are several leisure activities on offer such as golf, hiking, water skiing, swimming, Nordic walking. We also organise hiking tours and offer classes such as yoga classes.
We have dedicated parking spaces for each of our guests.
There are no fees payable for using our car parking facilities.
Our concierge will be more than happy to help you with your luggage and parking of your car.
Due to reasons of hygiene and allergies we cannot allow pets at VIVA.
Our laundry service is available from Monday to Friday.
As VIVA is a medical centre there are no smoking areas.
Due to our setup and structure a star rating for VIVA is not possible.
Unfortunately we require a credit card guarantee to make a reservation.
The earliest you can check in on the day of arrival is 3pm and on your day of departure you will need to check out by 12pm at the latest.
Our restaurant is open from 7.30-9.30 am for breakfast, 12.30-2 pm for lunch and 6-7 pm for dinner.
Our hotel is equipped with a satellite TV, national and international TV channels are available. You can also borrow movies free of charge from reception.
Our hotel reception is open Monday to Sunday from 7 am till 9 pm. The medical department reception team is available from 8 am till 4 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am till 12 pm. Should your arrival be after 9 pm it is possible to check in at the medical emergency desk.
There are numerous shops and boutiques located in the romantic old city of Klagenfurt. In addition the 30,000 sqm footage shopping centre “City Arkaden“ offers a variety of shops.
You are more than welcome to leave your luggage at reception after you have checked out.
Toiletries are available at reception for your convenience.
All our members of staff at VIVA speak German and English.
Currently, we do not offer a shuttle service from the airport or train station but we would be more than happy to arrange a taxi service for your journey.
The nearest airport is in Klagenfurt, it takes about 25 minutes to get there by car.
All your therapies and treatments will be prescribed and discussed with you after you had your initial medical examination.
When checking in at VIVA you will be booked in for an initial medical examination and a massage. Any further treatments will be discussed with you directly.
Please feel free to bring the doctor’s reports with you. However they are not required for establishing the treatments you will receive at VIVA.
We will try to accommodate your requests where ever possible. However, we would kindly ask for your understanding should this not be possible due to organisational reasons.
It would be helpful if you could have lighter meals a week before starting your therapies at VIVA. In addition, you should stop any alcohol consumption or at least limit it. The same applies to coffee and raw food.
In general yes, but the VIVA centre is unfortunately not equipped with child-friendly facilities. However, taking in consideration certain medical emergencies and that the child or young person will be accompanied by a guardian a therapy for children would be possible at VIVA.
Yes, of course. The therapies at VIVA are more than suitable for treating and soothing the ailments of diabetes. We often find that our patients leave with an improved state of health.
